The quality of a wet curtain can be evaluated from the following three aspects:
1. The quality of paper
There are many brands of cooling pad on the market, but their quality varies greatly. High quality cooling pad must be made of specially made raw pulp paper, which contains rich fibers, good water absorption, and high strength. Poor quality cooling pad has fewer fibers. In order to increase its strength, the paper has been surface strengthened. This type of paper has poor water absorption and is fragile when rubbed.
2. Cooling pad strength
Cooling pad in work must be soaked in water, so their strength must be high, otherwise they are prone to collapse and scrap. High quality cooling pad contains abundant fibers, good toughness, high strength, strong adhesion, and can withstand long-term immersion; Poor quality cooling pad will utilize other external substances on its surface, such as oil immersion treatment, to obtain a certain strength. Its water absorption and adhesion will be greatly affected, and this type of paper has a short lifespan and is prone to collapse.
Method for determining the strength of cooling pad:
Method 1: Take a 60cm cooling pad and place it flat on a flat surface. An adult weighing about 60-70kg stands on the cooling pad, and the paper core can fully withstand such weight without deformation or collapse.
Method 2. Take a small piece of cooling pad and boil it in hot water at a constant temperature of 100 ℃ for 1 hour without cracking. The cooling pad that meets industry requirements has better strength with longer boiling time.
3. Cooling pad water absorption performance
Soak the cooling pad in water, the more water it absorbs, the better, and the faster the water absorption rate, the better. Because the cooling pad cools down through evaporation, with sufficient air flow, the more water there is, the better the evaporation effect, and thus the better the cooling effect.
